Week 1:

  • Monday: Take a full-length IELTS practice test to assess your current level and identify areas for improvement.

  • Tuesday-Thursday: Focus on improving your reading skills. Read academic articles, newspapers or other texts related to your interests or future studies. Practice skimming and scanning techniques to quickly identify key information.

  • Friday: Watch a TED talk or a documentary in English to practice your listening skills. Take notes on the main ideas and supporting details.

  • Saturday-Sunday: Focus on improving your writing skills. Write a response to a sample IELTS writing prompt, and have a tutor or friend review and give feedback on your work.

Week 2:

  • Monday-Wednesday: Continue to focus on reading skills. Practice identifying main ideas, supporting details and vocabulary in academic texts.

  • Thursday: Watch a TV show or movie in English to practice your listening skills. Pay attention to the accents and try to understand the dialogue without subtitles.

  • Friday-Saturday: Focus on improving your speaking skills. Practice speaking aloud on a variety of topics and record yourself to identify areas for improvement.

  • Sunday: Take a practice IELTS speaking test with a tutor or friend.
